Coach Safety

Safety comes first at Hannon Coach, it’s our priority core value. Our modern fleet is purchased with safety at the forefront.

Our coach fleet is subject to a rigorous preventative maintenance programme to ensure maximum reliability and safety.  All our coaches are fitted with full three-point lap and shoulder seatbelts. We can also provide seat-belt extension sets for larger guests.

Our coaches will always carry comprehensive first-aid kits and safety equipment. The health and safety equipment is checked when the vehicle is dispatched and again one hour prior to the scheduled arrival of the tour group.

Safety features across the fleet include:

Additionally, we provide hand antiviral sanitiser gel dispensers at each door and our drivers will use disinfectant spray for hand rails / tables / toilets to limit potential for the spread of norovirus, common stomach bugs and sickness.

Our drivers will always complete a safety briefing with the tour leader before commencing any driven work on how to open the doors, and where the safety equipment is stored on the coach.
